Amesbury Base

For yarn with extra sparkle, our Amesbury Fingering base is the perfect choice. It is a blend of 84% Superwash Merino and 16% Stellina, which is a metallic thread that comes in either Silver or Gold.

Athabascan Base

Make your next project even softer by holding a strand of our 75% Baby Suri Alpaca and 25% Mulberry Silk together with your main yarn, or create something open and airy looking by using it on its own.

Barbury Base

This 3 ply sock weight yarn blend is similar to our Salisbury blend, however the nylon used is extra soft.

Broadmoor Base

This base is made of our incredibly soft, 17 Micron Superwash Merino. The fingering weight is 2 ply, the sport weight is 3 ply, and the worsted weight is 4 ply.

Fosbury Base

These yarns are 100% Superwash Merino. The lace weight and fingering weight are 2 ply, the sport weight is 3 ply, and the worsted weight is 4 ply.

Georgian Base

Our Georgian base is our Superwash Merino and Silk blend, and is available in two options, both 2 ply. Georgian Fingering 30 is 70% Superwash Merino and 30% Silk, while Georgian Fingering 50 is 50% Superwash Merino and 50% Silk. The silk ads a nice, lustrous shine to the yarn.

Glenbrook Base

This base is a blend of Superwash Merino, Yak, and silk, and is so luxurious feeling. Yak fibres are softer than cashmere, and warmer than wool. Glenbrook Sock is 3 ply, with 70% Superwash Merino, 20% Yak, and 10% Silk.

Hawthorne Base

These are our single ply 100% Superwash Merino yarns, available in lace weight, fingering weight, worsted weight, and super bulky.

Salisbury Base

These yarns are our 80% Superwash Merino and 20% Nylon blends. The sock yarn is 3 ply, while the Bulky and Super Bulky weight Salisbury yarns are two ply. the added nylon gives extra strength to this yarn, so it it great for a wide variety of uses, including ones where there may be areas of higher wear. Note: Salisbury Sock is slowly being phased out since it is so similar to Barbury Sock.

Strathcona Base

This is a luxurious blend of silk and linen, perfect for those who cannot wear animal fibres. Unlike wool, neither silk nor linen have elasticity in the fibre, so this attribute should be considered when deciding on a project to use this yarn for - this yarn is not the best choice for fitted garments. Currently available in Fingering weight, but we can bring in other weights (Lace, Sport, DK, and Worsted).

Tisbury Base

These yarns are non-super wash. Tisbury Sock uses a 19.5 micron merino and nylon, and is softer than then Fingering, Sport, and Worsted weights also available.

Woodbridge Base

This base is made of a combination of Superwash Merino , Cashmere, and Nylon. We have two variations available, depending on how much Cashmere you want, and both are a 3 ply sock weight. Our Woodbridge Sock 10 has 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, and 10% Nylon, while our Woodbridge Sock 20 has more Cashmere - 70% Superwash Merino, 20% Cashmere, and 10% Nylon.
