This three hour class is for those who are new to spinning, wheel spinners, and those needing a refresher! We will learn the basics of spinning and plying on a suspended spindle.
Spinning It Up a Notch - with Elana Goodfellow

Are you a self-taught wheel spinner, or have been out of practice for awhile? master spinner Elana will teach you tricks to improve your techniques and help you figure out how to solve your spinning issues! Further details and registration links will be posted at a later date.
Crochet Intensive: Slip Knot to Treble Stitch - with Susan Chin
October 15, 22, 29, & November 5, 2023, 1:00 - 3:00 pm
Our beginner class teaches the basics of crochet over four sessions. This includes the foundation chain, single crochet, half double and double crochet, treble, as well as crocheting into chain spaces -- many of the ways crochet is stitched in a flat (worked back and forth) fabric. We’ll also look at ways to hold a hook and yarn, stitch tension, pattern terminology, how to read a pattern, join new yarn and weave in ends.
Dyeing For Fun with Food Colouring - with Tammy Bylsma

This course is for those who are interested in dyeing wool, but don't want to invest in dedicated equipment to continue dyeing at home - just use what's already in your kitchen!

Join Anel and Gail for Felting Fun Day! We have a great day planned with two classes so you can learn two different felting techniques:
- 11:30 am - 2:30 pm: Nuno Felted Scarf - You will learn the process of nuno felting on a silk scarf with different wools to make a beautiful wearable piece of art. More Information & Registration
- 3:00 - 5:00 pm: Felted Gnome - You will learn the basics of needle felting while creating an adorable gnome.
Thrummed Mittens - with Sarah Ross

Have you ever tried wearing thrummed mittens in the winter? They are super-thick, super-warm mittens that can keep your hands warm in the coldest and bleakest of winters. Knit with worsted weight or chunky yarn, and with pieces of warm woollen fleece knitted in, these mittens will knit up fast.
