Local Yarn Store Day Crawl




The six Edmonton and area yarn stores have put together the Local Yarn Store Day Crawl for the third year!  

Get a stamp from each shop listed below to enter to win the grand prize draw! The crawl is happening April 24, 25, & 26, however, please check each shop’s hours, as some may be open different hours than normal.

We will be open Friday 11-6, Saturday 10-4, Sunday 12-4
  • We have Sarah from Sarah's Fibre Arts coming in on April 25th & 26th with all of her project and notion bags! She always has items available in new, colourful prints, and a number of different sizes of bags to suit any project. 
  • We will be placing several mini ducks throughout the store - turn one in to be entered to win one of three $25.00 gift cards (one entry per person per day). Note: all ducks will be visible and not hidden in products.
  • Place an order of $100 or more of in-stock products (online and in-store) and get a free mystery needle stopper set (while supplies last). Online orders will have the stoppers added when shipped, no need to add to your cart.
  • We will be offering a FREE Knitting In Colour class on Sunday, April 26 from 12:00 - 2:00, where our instructor Susan Chin will be bringing in loads of samples and talking about all the ways you can use colour in your projects. Open to all skill levels as this is not a skill building class. Space is limited, REGISTER HERE. Classroom is up 14 steps.
  • We will have a limited number of tote bags available to purchase for $10. Tote bags purchased at Numana Yarns include a 5% discount on your entire order!
  • We have two designers who are offering a free pattern when the yarn to make it is purchased during our event:
    • Double The Stitches is offering the Treasured Skein Scarfette pattern, which uses 1 skein of Sport/DK yarn. We have a sample in progress using our popular colourway, Monet's Garden.
    • Casapinka is offering the Colossal Fluff Up shawl pattern, which uses 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn. She suggests using a speckled/variegated yarn for one, and a contrasting tonal for the other.
