This No Dye Left Behind colourway is named after the nickname my daughter was given by some of her friends in high school. She's always a fan of rainbow-like colours.
One of the stories my grandparents shared was when they would get together with their friends Art and Fran (who they nicknamed Fart and Ann). One day they decided to have a bit of fun and the ladies jumped into a shopping cart which the men then raced across the parking lot. No idea where this happened or why they were all shopping together, but it was always funny to think about my grandparents being young and spry enough to do these kinds of things!
This one reminded me of the last cruise I was on (ugh, I just want to travel so bad right now). One of the shore excursions we took was the Con Tiki Party Boat, complete with rum punch and a steel drum band. Lots of fun was had, and my husband actually did surprisingly well doing the limbo!
Earlier in the pandemic, my Stitch 'n' Bitch group was meeting online. One of the members said she was only stopping in to say hi, but had to leave right away because she had another Zoom scheduled. She described it as a "pretentious book club" and she felt like she had to go because she had recommended the latest book, lol! I thought it made a good name!
The Little Nicky's a Vampire - you know there's going to be a story behind this name! When my kids were much younger, there was a video on YouTube that they were obsessed about called The Babysitter's A Vampire. They played it over and over, as kids will do. As I'm known to do, I started singing it, but changed the title to be The Little Nicky's A Vampire. She was amused back then. Now at 16? Not so much, lol!
